New Product Coordinator


ARC International is looking for a highly motivated New Product Coordinator to assist in the execution of new product assortments and retail specific products for the Mikasa brand.  Founded in 1825, ARC International is one of the world's largest tabletop companies, employing over 16,000 people. We distribute glass & crystal products, dinnerware, and home accessories in over 160 countries for the luxury, consumer, and food service markets. Arc International North America is the home to 5 very special tableware brands - Mikasa, Studio Nova, Luminarc, Salviati, and Cristal d'Arques.


 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate and organize new product development samples: Requests samples, unpacks samples, labels samples, tracks samples, and moves samples into storage.
Communicates and coordinates sample deliveries for bi-annual markets.  Sends out requests, follows up on timely delivery, and unpacks samples with showroom team
Works with sourcing manager to maintain sourced new product tracking excel file and sourcing fields in the market files.  Performs data entry, manages information for accuracy, and organizes data.
Works with sourcing manager, vendors and packaging team to ensure on-time production of all packaging. Works with sourcing manager, vendors and inventory control managers to ensure on-time delivery of new products. Uses email to follow up.
Works with sourcing manager, vendors and product control to ensure all testing is done prior to initial shipments.  Requests factories to perform testing or send testing docs already perfomed. 
Maintains order tracking document (tracks new production orders) for communication to management, marketing and the sales force. Works with vendors to get shipping info on new products.  Gets info, and follows up with vendors to make sure product is delivered on time.


Qualifications:


BS Degree


2-4 years relevant experience.


Proficiency with MS Office.


Excellent communication, follow-through and organizational skills.
