Job Description:
This position is a direct client sales and marketing position within the Business Unit. As a Senior Account Director, you are the first point of contact with the client. Responsibilities include consulting, research design, project pricing, and overall management of assigned clients. The focus is on growing and managing current business and expanding client opportunities.

Responsibilities:
o Develop client relationships, expanding proposal opportunities and share of client(s) business.
o Increase the volume of sales consistent with the potential of assigned client(s).
o Consult with clients on study design and research methodology.
o Understand client needs in order to prepare proposals and develop cost estimates to meet research objectives.
o Employ Synovate's solutions to meet client needs.
o Work with project management and operations teams to coordinate project execution in the U.S. and globally.
o Monitor individual projects throughout their lifespan to accomplish project objectives/goals.
o Oversee the analysis of projects and actively contribute insights and recommendations to reports.
o Maintain a high level of client service and satisfaction.
o Ensure profitability of the assigned business via proper pricing and budget management.


Requirements:
o Proven knowledge of custom market research methodologies and techniques
o Knowledgeable of project management and analytical processes
o Minimum 8 years of research and direct client service experience
o Prior sales/business development experience
o Committed to company philosophy and goals
o Team player
o Initiative to be a leader within the organization
o Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
o Good negotiator
