Sr. Account Executive - GSO

Targetbase a unique direct marketing agency driven by business intelligence, has a Fortune 500 client base, and specializes in providing actionable insights that turn customer data into profits.

 

Targetbase, part of the Omnicom Group Inc., has its headquarters in Dallas, Texas with an office in Greensboro, North Carolina.

 

The Sr. Account Executive is responsible for delivering a completed project on time, on specification, within scope, and on budget, providing completed planning and documentation.  The Sr. AE is responsible for adhering to established Sr. AE processes and principles within their scope of responsibility.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Develops and manages all project timelines and budgets. Tracks project costs throughout project lifecycle and reconciles estimated to actual costs at project completion and proactively communicates variances. Proactively manages vendor invoice flow

 

? Responsible for appropriate level client contacts throughout execution phase of project implementation.  Ensures strong relationships are built and maintained with clients. Manages client expectations and communication flow as relate to project scope and the internal project team

 

? Coordinates with other team members to monitor ongoing progress, make adjustments when required, pro-actively identify project issues/problems, assist in issue/problem resolution and provide project updates

 

? Gathers database related work specifications from client and/or team members.  Provides concise and appropriate written specifications on inputs, outputs, internal processes, as well as quality assurance measures to the appropriate functional groups.  Assists with QA and provides final sanity check for project deliverables (e.g., mailfile extracts, research sample)

 

? Works with multi-functional team defining the overall scope of a project and developing a sound implementation plan meeting project strategy while considering both budget and timing

 

? Schedules and leads project status meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas and document status

 

? Demonstrates a continuous development of base knowledge of the client?s business

 

? Develops and manages relationships with third party vendors, freelancers, and other appropriate partners

 

? Identifies processes that can be improved.  Makes recommendations and participates in improvement.

 

? Understanding of latest trends in the interactive industry and their application in direct marketing.

 

 Required Knowledge:

 Minimum requirements include 2-4 years experience with ability to manage projects in a fully competent, autonomous manner from initiation through completion; concentration in a marketing or technology environment

 Solid understanding of Targetbase competencies including analytics, creative development, relational database technology, and CRM principles and applications

 Comprehensive understanding of the latest trends in the interactive industry including but not limited to e-mail, web development, and all-line analytics

 Solid PC skills and Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Visio,  Email packages)

 Working knowledge of MS Project or other tracking and project management software

 Familiarity with full scope account management including strategy, design and implementation of projects.

 Preferred requirements include a Bachelors Degree in business, liberal arts, communications, computer science or related field.
