The Senior Analyst  - Strategic Business Analysis is responsible for performing complex data manipulation and analysis utilizing packaged programs and/or survey instruments. This job is project focused and is responsible for delivering analytical results as part of the entire client solution.

 

SBA supports the success of Targetbase by providing critical strategic recommendations that guide our client?s decision making process as it relates to CRM initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:Reviews data for trends, patterns, and causal analysis to assist our client?s understanding of customer?s behaviors and attitudes.  Converts trends and data into recommendations for client usage and understanding.  Quality checks dataWrites presentation of analysis findings for presentation to project lead.Writes program in SAS for raw data input, reporting and interpretation.Integrates and prepares data for client/project manager review and modification recommendations.Writes tab plan for data summarization from raw data collection.Discerns and recommends appropriate action(s) to be taken by client to increase customer loyalty from survey data.May be asked to act as a Project Manager.  Sets project timelines and milestones.  Accountable for project completion according to set timelines.Manages client time and assists others during ?down? times.Maintains documentation of work on client projects.  Maintains a ready state for knowledge sharing.May deliver results to client in the presentation formatResponsible for analytical planning.Assists project lead in ensuring the integrity and quality of client deliverable(s).Begins to move into a specialization while maintaining a working knowledge of all areas of SBAMay be asked to select vendors for project activities

 

Requirements:

1. Minimum requirements include 2 years experience in Marketing Research or Database Marketing

2. Knowledge of managing, developing and launching interactive initiatives

3. Preferred requirements include a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Social Sciences/Computer Science/Economics/Marketing and experience in modeling, forecasting, and segmentation

4. Familiar with SAS/SPSS and/or OLAP or Datamining tools

5. Proficient in Excel

6. Proficient working with and exploring data and in quantitative analysis, mathematics and statistics

7. Must be familiar with the theories and schools of thought around surveys.
