An award-winning advertising agency in Northern Virginia is seeking a Senior Art Director to take advantage of a dynamic temp-to-hire opportunity. This top-notch opening is for a self-organized professional who is capable of conceptualizing and mentoring younger designers with advertising campaigns and collateral. The ideal individual will have a strong portfolio that includes conceptual and technical diversity showing evidence of ?thinking outside the box? while achieving goals.

Key responsibilities:
Develop marketing strategies
Exhibit expert knowledge of both the target market and assigned brand
Mentor young designers
Develop preliminary layouts for production using Mac-based programs

Skills/Experience:
College degree in related field
Design and art direction experience in an agency setting
5+ years experience in print advertising
Excel in strategic creative concepting, design and production
Ability to manage multiple deadlines on numerous, concurrent projects
Excellent Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign skills
Real estate agency experience preferred
