Overview:

Macy's Corporate Marketing (MCM) has an immediate opening for a Senior Art Director in their creative department. This individual will be responsible for campaign concept, development, and execution of assigned projects: Holiday, Credit Campaigns, Corporate Collateral, Mother's Day, etc.



Key Accountabilities:
Developing concepts, design and art direction for all projects within Macy's Corporate Marketing
Establishing graphic design specifications, then developing style guides for distribution to divisions.
Coordinates with Marketing, Visual, Divisions and MMG merchants on creative solutions.
Responsible for distributing work, monitoring schedules and creative budgets.
Oversee the development of direct reports and plan growth opportunities.
Direct and oversee photo shoots - as necessary
Interact with external MCM clients as necessary.

Skills Summary:


Minimum 5 years experience in advertising and graphic design - with focus on fashion and retail
2+ years of management experience preferred
Possess strong sense of style in all areas - fashion as well as home
Experience in directing fashion and still photography
Prior retail experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written skills - both vertical and horizontal
Proficient Mac platform skills - Quark, Indesign, Photoshop
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced dynamic environment
