Job Description: Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Senior Communications Consultant works closely with the clients to determine a communication strategy and oversees the development of the program and acts as a consultant to the plan sponsor for all communication plans. Principal Responsibilities:

* Conduct fact-finding meetings and on-going consultation with the clients to determine relevant plan history, workforce characteristics, client and participant needs. Use information to develop communication strategies and programs. Obtain client approval for the plan.

* Analyze campaign results and report measurement to clients. Held accountable for the effectiveness of communication efforts.

* Manage internal members of the creative exchange team to ensure the product is on strategy and manage client expectations concerning deliverables and scheduling.

* Leads and directs the product team in the development of sales presentations tailored to prospect specifics and participates in finals presentations for large market opportunities with the Sales team.

* Leads client meetings in consultation with Relationship Managers

* Manages the allowance budget for each client assigned to assure the communications expenses don't exceed the allotted budget.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in communication or marketing preferred
* Master degree preferred
* 7 to 10 years of marketing, advertising, and/or communication experience preferred
* Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
* Presentations
* Leadership
* Sound judgment
* Negotiation skills
* Retirement industry knowledge
* College degree and 5-7 yrs related work experience required
