Sr. Field Marketing Manager

The Sr. Field Marketing Manager will primarily serve as marketing advocate and liaison for corporate and franchise partners while establishing and maintaining the integrity of the Johnny Carino?s brand. This position is based in Austin, Texas and requires some travel. The Sr. Field Marketing Manager reports directly to the Director of Field Marketing and will interact extensively with Franchise Partners and assist corporate owned restaurants.

?Work with franchise partners and company-owned restaurants to develop and implement successful marketing plans at the grass roots and brand level.
?Field calls and inquiries from franchise partners and their advertising agencies. Help build strong relationships within these groups by providing information and assisting with developing programs when necessary.
?Help monitor franchise partner advertising plans and programs on a monthly basis; assist with improving communications to the franchise partner community.
?Work closely with Franchise Operations Directors and Managers to gather and share information about marketing activities within each franchise partner market.
?Work closely with Regional and Area Directors to develop local restaurant programs to meet business building or competitive needs at the local level.
?Develop local restaurant marketing programs (LRM) and new opening support programs. Providing training on LRM to GM?s and Managers within franchise partner and company-owned restaurants.
?Work with advertising agencies and designers to create marketing tools and programs for franchise partners.
?Develop and maintain sales reports for franchise partners; develop partner sales reports on an as needed basis.
?Assist with developing monthly POP order spreadsheets; coordinate with Summit, TRG, Fishbowl and other partners to provide timely and accurate information.
?Responsible for helping share marketing best practices and success stories within the franchise partner community.
?Assist with managing franchise partner marketing material approval process to maintain logo standards and brand integrity.
?Approximately 30% travel
? At least five years of casual dining restaurant marketing experience,
? Very detail-oriented and able to simultaneously lead multiple projects to completion,
? Excellent communication skills,
? College degree in related field,
? Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans,
? Experience in managing advertising/design agencies and media buying,
? Must be literate in Microsoft Office suite of products
