Sr. Manager-Employee Communications

The BearingPoint Communications team is currently searching for a Sr. Manager for the Employee Communications segment.

Key Responsibilities: Drive employee engagement in and advocacy of the company’s strategy, brand, and direction through a comprehensive and integrated approach to HR and operational communications. Responsible for working with the employee communications team leader to ensure that the overall communications approach is fully aligned with the goals and objectives of the company – working on such issues as message architecture and development, channel development, communications planning, and execution.

This individual will lead a team that partners with Human Resources and Operational leaders and professionals to ensure employee understanding and engagement in key areas such as compensation and benefits, career and leadership development, career mobility and company internal operations.
Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in employee communications in a mid- to large-size organization, either at the headquarters level or within a prominent business unit
• Possess a proven record of driving successful communications programs and working with executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Professional Services industry experience preferred

Provide counsel on message architecture and development, channel development, communications planning, and process improvements.
Build and execute on key employee communications campaigns -- with defined goals, plans, and intended results.
Design measurement programs to ensure return on investment in employee communications
Drive innovative channels into the communications approach.
Lead a team of communications professionals aligned to the HR and operational activities of the company.
Communicate components of the company’s Total Reward approach, including compensation, benefits and equity – building understanding of how career development and progression is tied to compensation and rewards.
Maintain responsibility for annual and interim review and reward cycles, including segmenting the audiences to ensure understanding and engagement at the different responsibilities inherent in this process.
Promote our career and leadership development activities to ensure that employees understand how the company is building their competencies and providing them the tools to drive their careers at BearingPoint.
Work with key Corporate Services functions, such as finance, IT, travel, and real estate to design global communications plans and delivery.
