Sr. Manager, Print Production

Job Responsibilities: This position is based in San Francisco, CA.
A seasoned print production expert who to leads and manages the production execution,
scheduling and budgeting of In-store non-seasonal print materials for Old Navy Marketing.
Lead In-store non-seasonal production while managing execution, scheduling and budgets.
Anticipate issues and opportunities and provide recommendations for managing growth, setting priorities and seeking strategic opportunities.
Function as expert in assigned vehicle.
Lead and manage production staff.
Responsible for setting goals and priorities, identifying areas of growth and career path opportunities as well as writing and administer reviews.
Provide coaching and development while overseeing quality of work.
Manage workload and growth of area within department, partner to anticipate and address workload issues for overall production team.
Research innovations in print technology and materials and communicate ideas to creative to keep marketing vehicles fresh.
Partner with creative team to execute creative vision.
Continuously explore and provide innovative solutions and develop best practices between functional, cross-functional and divisional business partners.
Partner with Program Management, Creative, Media and Digital Production to execute projects on-time and within budget.
Manage expectations and educate business partners on production costs/requirements.
Provide options and trade-offs, with a point of view and recommendations based on expertise.
Strategize efficient fulfillment and shipping methods and communicate recommendations.
Ensure proper and timely delivery.
Negotiate and bid projects for best possible price.
Input estimates and actuals into forecasting tool monthly and review status with Program Management.
Develop annual production budgets.
Forecast and manage budgets and ensure actuals come in as planned.
Communicate changes in costs and provide cost efficiency recommendations to Program Management.
Approve color and attend press checks.
Collaborate with others in production to ensure consistent quality and color across all areas of production.
Strategize on fulfillment and shipping methods.
Ensure proper and timely delivery.
Attend and actively participate in all weekly and project-based status and vehicle meetings.
Attend and/or lead various meetings with Program Management, Print Production, Digital Production and Visual.
Keep management updated on projects, initiatives, key issues, etc.
