The Product Manager will be responsible for managing a line of Sample Preparation including instruments, reagents, and consumables.



The Product Manager will manage an existing portfolio of products, as well as new products, develop business cases, represent the voice of the customer, and partner with R&D to ensure that products meet or exceed market requirements, and are launched in a timely manner. The Product Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the product during the product life cycle. He/she will be expected to act as the advocate, both internally and externally, for the product(s) assigned to them. This includes interactions with Customer, R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, etc.



Bachelor's Degree (B.S./B.A.) in a scientific discipline (molecular biology, genetics or biochemistry preferred), or equivalent.
• Completion of an advanced degree in business (MBA) or advanced degree in life science is advantageous.
• Requires four to seven years of related experience in product management/ strategic marketing.
• Product launch experience required
• Experience managing a complex product line, including pricing, forecasting and supply/demand responsibility
• Specific knowledge/experience in nucleic acid sample preparation markets/products is strongly desired.
