GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager for the PolyOne Vinyl Compounds Business is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs to drive growth and profitability of Vinyl Compounds globally. This responsibility will cover all of Vinyl's current and future product lines and will touch more than 35 major markets. This position is located in Avon Lake, Ohio. Ideal candidate will reside in the local area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and execute marketing plans to drive profitable growth
* Direct market intelligence activities
* Coordinate customer survey activities, analysis, and action items for the business
* Conduct and coordinate market research, analyze, draw conclusions, and use to set strategy
* Provide direction to the our sales force, in defining which markets/ applications to pursue
* Responsible for design, development and updating of promotional marketing materials
* Ensures changes in market/industry requirements are understood in a proactive manner and incorporated to develop strategy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors degree in Marketing or related degree. MBA preferred
* 5 to 10 yrs of marketing related experience. Prefer experience to be in industrial marketing.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
* Good oral and written communication skills and excellent research and project coordination skills
* Ability to apply complex analytical and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work very well in a team environment
* Good presentation skills
* Self motivated with the ability to multi-task
