Sr. Marketing Officer

Description of Position Function:

Under administrative direction, plans, organizes, implements, monitors and evaluates a variety of marketing activities such as advertising, communications and sales promotions to support the overall divisional business plans.  Works with the director of marketing and advertising agencies in developing and preparing promotional campaigns recommending media and formats to inform potential clients of products.  Assist with the development of press release as well as correspondence such as corporate communication and letters. The Senior Marketing Officer will interact with a variety of customers on a frequent basis and seek to develop and maintain a marketing campaign which results in bankwide consistency and maximum market penetration. The Senior Marketing Officer will also assist in guiding and monitoring regional marketing plans to ensure consistency with overall strategic plan.

 

Job Skills and Qualifications Required:

Bachelors of Science degree in Communications, Marketing or  Business Administration with a minimum of 2 years directly related work experience required; or a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of marketing/communications experience within a financial institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience must consist of financial product knowledge, development and execution of effective marketing strategies and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
