Sr. Marketing Specialist

Sage Software has an immediate opening for a Senior Marketing Specialist in our Austin office.  This position will coordinate and execute ongoing marketing programs and projects. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

?   Gathers and processes input from product marketing, engineering, sales and other internal resources to formulate marketing recommendations and creative briefs

? Executes marketing campaigns. Includes project pre-work, job submissions, managing timelines and vendors, obtaining necessary approvals, copy and layout editing and coordinating response mechanisms

?  Works closely with internal and external designers and writers to produce marketing deliverables

 

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

 

Education, skills and/or Experience: 

?  Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, English or relevant work experience

? 2 - 3 years related experience in marketing, project management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

? Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

?  Strong written and verbal communication skills

?  Excellent planning, time management, decision making and organization skills

?  Ability to coordinate people and resources from multiple areas within as well as outside the corporation

?  Able to work independently and be self-driven
