JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager
Reports to: Director, Product Development
Compensation: TBD ? depends on experience and skill set
Overview:
Logistix Inc., a division of EMAK Worldwide, sells customized and non-customized products that are used in promotional sales programs. We are the largest sales promotion agency in America specializing in Premium Promotions. Our customers are mostly Fortune 500 businesses that use our merchandise and promotions to increase their sales. Typical promotions include gift-with purchase, purchase-with purchase, sweepstakes/games, employee/sales incentives, food related premiums, and retail premiums.
Logistix Inc. works with manufacturers/vendors from around the world to manufacture and source our promotional items. The Project Manager is the liaison between Logistix and these manufacturers/vendors and is an integral part of our success. The position?s responsibilities include: develop and price quote products, working closely with Account Executives (Sales) to develop products that will lead to increased sales for Logistix while meeting all of our internal and external requirements in regards to Safety, and Product Integrity.

To support sales by developing products and managing projects that meet the customer?s objectives, quality standards, and delivery, while maintaining our own internal standards and requirements and helping the company meet its revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to fully own each and every project or product assigned to manage

- Is able to troubleshoot issues under pressure
- Fantastic organizer, multi-tasking, negotiator, administrator, and a quick learner
- Great with written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Bachelor?s degree and/or 2 or more years experience in product development, promotional products marketing, or other related field.
- Business English writing skill necessary
- Spoken/Written Mandarin/Cantonese a plus
Job Duties:
1/ Develop appropriate premium and promotional products, and manage projects in a way that culminate in a sale as directed by Account Executive
2/ Send written quote requests to overseas vendors through our Asian offices, and in some cases ?factory direct?, ensuring prompt and accurate replies
3/ Maintain and organize project timelines, deadlines, and specifics
4/ Manage all project costs in order to help maintain the profitability and margins
5/ Work with the team counterparts in our Asian Offices to negotiate and develop accurate costing and timelines for Account Executive
6/ Analyze products in order to provide detailed specifications and quality control
7/ Verify prototypes and production sample specifications, artwork, labeling and testing meet customer?s and EMAK?s requirements
8/ Store products, images, data, and samples in the appropriate areas and manage their use efficiently
9/ Attend tradeshows, shop retail stores, visit ?marts?, review retail catalogs, visit overseas offices
10/ Troubleshoot all issues related to the project and/or product, and able to successfully pull from internal knowledge experts in regards to engineering, safety and quality
Sales Support:
1/ Provide product specifications, costs and benefits to Account Executives as needed
2/ Help prepare sales for client presentations by arranging presentation spreadsheet, product photographs, and tagging samples
3/ Participate in creative brainstorming with the Sales Team and Creative Team to develop strategic premium concepts
4/ other tasks/projects as needed
Order Placement:
1/ Work with Asian office counterparts to qualify any new vendors prior to order placement
2/ Work with Asian office counterparts to negotiate favorable cost, delivery and credit terms and obtain vendor?s commitment in writing
3/ Work with QA/QC and CPI to establish Quality Control standards and product specifications for the order
4/ Complete accurate and detailed Timeline
5/ Complete detailed Item Specifications-including packaging, carton weight, dimension and case pack
6/ Account for all project related costs in our standard costing sheets
7/ Complete Purchase Order paperwork and work with our internal Operations team and counterparts to properly enter our orders into our SAP management system
8/ Work with Asian office counterparts to ensure transmission of accurate and approved artwork to the vendor
9/ Work with Asian office counterparts to ensure prompt receipt of pre-production and production samples for client approval and review
10/ Evaluate pre-production and production samples for accuracy, and quality, and communicate all changes to both Sales and Vendor
11/ Work with the Operations Department to make sure the procurement of the selected items is smooth and trouble-free
