Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager

The Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational marketing of the Peachtree product line (including upgrades and add-on features) to the existing base of Peachtree customers.  This position will be accountable for achieving aggressive revenue targets by developing and implementing marketing programs that maximize business results.  Also responsible for contributing analytic insight, participating in business goals development, and managing all aspects of marketing program implementation, performance monitoring, and business metrics reporting.

 

Position Responsibilities

The Sr. Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs to increase revenue from, and retention of, the Peachtree customer base, and will be accountable for product positioning, market segmentation, price promotions, direct marketing messaging, strategic and financial planning, and performance reporting.  This assignment will manage and enhance existing marketing initiatives/programs, and introduce entirely new product/service offerings to the customer base.

This position will work closely with many departments, including Customer Support, Direct Marketing, Telesales, New Business Development, Product Management, Market Research, Marcom and Finance.  The position reports to the Director of Strategic Marketing of Accounting Solutions, and has no direct reports.

 

Position Requirements

5+ years experience required in product/brand management and/or small to mid size business product/service marketing.

 

The qualified candidate will have demonstrated success in the following strategic marketing disciplines:  business planning and reporting, customer needs assessment, product/service positioning, customer segmentation, and consumer communication.  The ideal candidate will have direct marketing (direct mail, email, telesales) knowledge, and experience marketing products/services to an installed customer base.

 

The candidate should possess the following:

? good project management skills

 

Four-year degree (BA/BS) required; MBA strongly preferred.
