Sr. Web Developer

LaBov & Beyond is celebrating its 25th year as a thriving marketing/communications agency!  Work for the top marketing agency in the region and an agency that has been selected in the 2006 Top 10 Local Best Places to Work!  We have also recently been named 13th in the 2006 State Best Places to Work competition in the small to medium business category.  We are seeking an energetic and experienced Sr. Web Developer that would function as a key member of the Interactive team and would be responsible for the development and execution of leading-edge Web solutions and software.

Key Responsibilities:

?Work closely with designers and team members to develop dynamic, interactive websites and software using HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, ASP and ASP.NET, ColdFusion, and other related technologies.
?Establish and implement site development plan/standards for specific projects.
?Provide light design skills with the ability to translate a wireframe and style guide into a production page.
? Ability to estimate and communicate complexity and duration of technical projects to team members
?Resolve bugs and cross browser compatibility issues.
?Mentor, coach and manage team members as needed.
?Identify tools, templates, and techniques that evolves existing approaches for the larger Creative Design community.

 

Requirements:

?Expert Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, Javascript - Skills in Flash a plus
?Experience working on large branded websites a plus
?Strong organizational and estimation skills
?Heroic get-it-done attitude
?Ability to thrive under tight deadlines

?Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Macromedia Fireworks

?Server-side Scripting (PHP/ASP/ASP.Net/ColdFusion)

 

Bachelor?s degree required in related field with five plus years of professional industry experience.

Must have a good understanding of Object Oriented programming. Candidate must possess a strong desire to learn new technologies.  Exemplary interpersonal skills are a must in order to advance your career in an outstanding work environment with national clientele.
