Storage Field Communications Tools Manager & Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PLEASE NOTE: This position can be in Broomfield, CO or the Bay Area, CA.

Responsible for supporting Sales, Marketing, Field Marketing and Customers driving awareness and adoption of Sun's Storage Portfolio. Primary activities include; developing, planning, measuring, and managing field communications tools strategy, executing against Storage field editorial calendar, metrics, and reporting to facilitate the transfer of information from the Storage BU to the Sun field audiences. Primary communication tools to include web strategy, webcasts, podcasts, email, and others as needed. Responsible for yearly rolling integrated communications tools plan by audience according to editorial calendar. Web content placement and strategy to optimize reach to field and partners to drive action and sales are the largest part of this role. Heavy emphasis on metrics, analysis, and reporting to ensure reach and effectivity of communications and ROI. Metrics to be analyzed and reported to VP of Marketing monthly, or more often as needed. Constant measurement and analysis of tools effectivity to be used to adjust and develop continuous improvements in communications mediums and execution. Large scale projects and teams will need to be managed.

Interface with the field to understand needs to drive vehicles with highest impact Drive strategic, integrated long-term field communication tools plans and programs Lead, monitor, adjust, and measure execution of plans based on metrics
Align with other field engagement groups to drive and adopt best practices across Sun Program management
Attention to details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated to drive results, with proven track record of delivering
Ability to work as a team player and build strong relationships to maximize effectivity
Ability to influence across all levels of the organization

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Domestic and international travel will be required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Good understanding of Sun's product portfolio & strategies
Good understanding of Sun's organization (Bu, GSO and Services)
Storage background
Strategic planning Proven international experience
Strong project/program management experience

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
Broad industry experience
Sales experience
Technical aptitude
Field Marketing experience
Foreign Languages

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8+

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION: Bachelors degree
