Strategic Communications Manager

The Strategic Communications Manager defines and oversees the development and execution of worldwide integrated communications strategies. Provide overall strategic direction and feedback for a team of marketing managers, communication specialist and designers to create strategic, targeted communications in support of Waters business goals.

Principal Responsibilities:

-Manage team of marketing and communications professionals in the evaluation, development and refinement of strategic communications at the individual project and global program levels. Champion of the brand position at every point of contact.

-Ensure marketing/editorial teams approach in developing fresh and compelling creative concepts that add to the customer experience, differentiate Waters core competencies and product in the marketplace.

-Ensure that the copy is benefit driven and portrays the Waters "voice" throughout print and on-line media as well as all other communication channels.

-Actively contribute higher-level ideas and messages that position and differentiate Waters.

-Build relationships with interactive group colleagues, and be proactive, positive contributor to integration efforts.

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in marketing or strategic communications. Broad-based knowledge of analytical instruments or medical device industry a plus. strong management skills, strong strategic planning, strong project management and budgeting experience as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. Should also have solid understanding of all aspects of advertising, print and interactive design as well as being a strong, flexible strategic thinker with vision.
