As the expert marketing partner with our portfolio of clients and the critical liaison with the creative team that produces their custom publications, you will understand the client?s overall marketing plan, be a creative, client-focused problem solver, an effective relationship builder, and a strong communicator.  You will be knowledgeable in both the client?s business and the company?s business, to provide value and serve as a critical strategic marketing consultant.  You will understand your client?s goals, articulating these goals throughout the organization, and develop marketing, circulation and response measurement plans that deliver on these goals. You will understand which of our products could support a client?s business objectives, and develop marketing plans to support your recommendations.  Account penetration is a key element in client retention. As a strategic thinker, you will identify client challenges as opportunities to consultatively sell McMurry products as solutions. A firm understanding of marketing mediums, strategies and tactics is a must and prior consultative sales experience is a plus. The ideal person will enjoy a combination of strategic consulting as well as consultative sales.

 

The creative process is something you well understand.  You understand the big picture while also grasping the small details.  Your degree is in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field and you are a seasoned professional with at least five years of similar experience.
