Technical Architect SAS DataStage

Requires SAS/Datastage -  Candidates must have experience supporting Sales & Marketing apps. Applicants with strict clinical background will not be considered.Complete Description:
Pharmaceutical industry experience and knowledge of business analysis functions. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading projects with proven project management capabilities and strong technical skills. Technical knowledge required: SAS programming experience with strong knowledge in base SAS, SAS macro language, advanced SAS programming capabilities, PC SAS version 8 and 9, UNIX SAS version 8 and 9, and UNIX shell scripting. Oracle, Datastage and Syncsort experience. Team oriented, customer and results focused. Excellent communication skills, strong judgement, strong management skills and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff.

Responsible for providing technical direction and mentoring to staff. Other responsibilities include analysis of business and system requirements, development and implementation of new software, modifications to existing platforms, participation in production support for assigned application systems, and documentation at every stage of the software development life cycle. The candidate will be required to design, develop, and implement software components. Level III
