Technical Editor

EDO Corporation is seekinga mid-level Logistics Analyst to support the NAVSEA's specifications and standards program office. Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Developing, revising and processing specs and standards following the DoD and DSP process
- Ensuring all assigned documents are appropriately updated, reviewed and porcessing accordance with standardized procedures and customer requirements
Properly tracking and incorporating technical changes to documents based on inputs and review comments
- Rework and reformat documents using predefined styles and templates in MS Word
- Review and rewrite specification contents to ensure clarity, proper grammar, and consistant use of terms and writing style
The successful applicant will be detail and process oriented, have and ILS bacground supporting the DoD, preferably the Navy. Technical writing skills, and demonstrated knowledge of MS Word and Excel are required.

BA/BS and 4-8 years experience providing documentation support, preferably related to DoD logistics programs is preferred. Experience using DoD ASSIST database and/or LiveLink is desirable, as is familiarity with the DSP process and/or experience writing and porcessing military specifications.

All applicants must capable of passing a background investigation and be elgigable to gain access to sensitive government material.
Qualifying candidates should have at least an education of: Bachelor's Degree
