Tele Marketer-Sales

 

Multiquip Inc., based in Carson, CA, is a worldwide manufacturer/distributor of light and medium sized construction equipment. Our diverse product lines include the highest quality equipment for soil compaction, concrete placement, concrete finishing, concrete and masonry cutting, water and material pumping, portable power generation, jobsite lighting and welding.

 

Tele-Sales: Extensive telephone contact with existing and prospective MQ GCE customers to gather and correct contact information, offer support, provide product and special sales information and to generally enhance the relationship between the company and the customer resulting in increased sales.  Frequent follow-up communications are required to include telephone, facsimile, e-mail and mail as well as coordination and communication among all MQ sales and support departments and personnel as applicable.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

(1) Plan calls and presentations based on various criteria as may be assigned from time to time to achieve effective call rate and ultimate sales results. 

(2) Ensure personal knowledge of products, prices, terms, processes, organization and philosophy to present the best face of the company while providing any needed assistance to the customer and to foster increased sales.

(3) Develop introductory letters prior to initiating telephone contacts to present the MQ customer service aspect of this contact initiative.

(4) Document and communicate call results and follow up as necessary.

(5) Enter sales orders and follow up on sales and other support requirements and processes.

(6) Communicate action requirements to applicable areas to ensure proper follow-through.

(7) Review, correct and maintain database of account information via CRM (SalesForce.com).

(8) Update, or initiate updates to SAP account master as required.

(9) Develop and distribute monthly reports reflecting activity and results achieved.

(10) Develop and distribute quarterly marketing/sales plan with specific goals for the subsequent quarter.

Qualifications:

Successful performance in this position requires an individual with good familiarity of the industry and customer operations; pleasant demeanor, excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette; passion for making a sale; and ability to accept frequent rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.

Education and/or Experience:

Some college and/or sales training is a plus; working knowledge, or ability to learn quickly, of various Microsoft Windows based programs, SAP and SalesForce.com (CRM) are required.

Compensation consists of a base salary plus quarterly incentive commissions based on revenue increases from the assigned target account group(s) for the period.
