Duties & Responsibilities:  Candidate will implement sales strategy and ensure that the company meets revenue and profits objectives through targeted prospecting of small, medium, large, and government accounts.  Excellent position for a goal oriented multi-tasker who can maintain a sales prospect list, contact senior-level decision makers via the telephone, engage them in needs-based dialogue to qualify opportunities and secure appointments for the national sales team.  Contacting business owners and senior level executives over the phoneIdentifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for business development managerConsultative selling in a needs-based dialogueMaintaining a prospect databaseTo become more educated about our clients? and prospects? needs through strategy sessions, news updates, and industry awareness.

 

Skill Set:  Strong oral and written communication skillsMinimum of 2 years direct sales experience including prospecting, cold calling, and client presentationsIntermediate level Word and Excel skills, Internet research capabilities, and networking skillsAble to develop new business primarily through phone contacts and presentationsDetail orientedProject a professional imagePositive attitude and solid work ethicExperience with business-to-business sales and solution based selling.Ability to communicate to high level contacts and gain trustEffectively handle various duties simultaneously through organizational skills for prioritizing workloadProven leadership and ability to win dealsAccount planning skillsSales experience with a track record of making quotaBilingual communication skills are appreciated, but not required
