Ticketing Producer

MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (MLBAM) is the interactive media and Internet Company of Major League Baseball. MLBAM manages the official league site, each of the 30 Club sites, Minor League Baseball Sites, and Player sites thereby creating the most comprehensive Major League Baseball resource on the Internet, as well as various entertainment/music properties and additional sports sites. We are seeking to immediately fill a Ticketing Producer position. The Ticketing Producer will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing online ticketing initiatives.

Objectives/Roles

? Develop/update website pages to promote and support online ticketing initiatives
? Manage regular e-mail marketing campaigns, including writing, designing, coding and launching e-mails
? Develop benchmarks, standards and other tools to aid in the development of marketing strategies
? Ensure accurate implementation of visual design, user interfaces and information architecture
? Manages Ticketing-specific feature/functionality development including, but not limited to: promotions, schedules, onsales, fan clubs, sweepstakes, and new features
? Develops and manages schedule and project budgets
? Serves as point person for tech/design troubleshooting in support of daily site QA of ticketing content
? Fulfills other production responsibilities as assigned by Ticketing Personnel
? Provides sound feedback and suggestions for enhancing the user experience for the portal overall
? Provides additional production backup and QA support for network of other Producers
? Tracks data, analyzes results and implements changes based on collected site data

Minimum requirements
? Bachelors Degree
? At least 3 years? working experience in Internet Production (HTML with non-WYSIWYG editors, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office)
? Project management experience, specifically the ability to manage technical projects from conception to implementation
? Familiarity with the game of baseball and the music industry
? Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
? Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights throughout the year, as needed
? Solid experience working in Website production, agency or corporate site environment, with an understanding of e-commerce
? Good working knowledge of content management systems and image creation tools (PhotoShop, Illustrator)
? Knowledge of hand-coded HTML/CSS
? Experience with JavaScript, JSP, DHTML, Flash preferred
? Proven track record of successfully running e-mail marketing campaigns from start to finish
? Team player with the ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all levels of MLBAM staff and partners as applicable
? Detail-oriented, organized and excellent verbal and written communication skills
