Traffic Manager / Director

We're a fast-growing, independent agency seeking an experienced Traffic Manager/Director with experience managing execution of a variety of projects (broadcast, print, online, events, etc.) for national clients. You'll be working with a seasoned team of pros to grow our clients' businesses. You'll act as a liaison between departments to coordinate the workflow to meet deadlines and client expectations.

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans workflow, meets deadlines, juggles multiple projects and accounts at the same time Opens up job numbers in the system, establishes job folders, maintains job history Requests, obtains, maintains proper agency documentation: spec sheets, client changes, approvals, colorbreaks, etc. Routes jobs to obtain proper signoffs through Editorial, Creative, Account Services, Production, Digital Studio, plans most efficient routing through agency Creates and maintains weekly status reports and daily Hot Sheets Assists Account team in preparing time and event schedules Oversees/makes sure timeline is being followed for individual jobs Prepares and submits all jobs for client submission Obtain copies of job, comps, size/specs, reference copies, any other materials needed for package Prepares completed job folders for storage

 

COMMUNICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Anticipates situations and proactively suggests solutions Prepares status report for weekly Traffic meeting Collaborates with Account team to arrange start-up meetings for new jobs and weekly status meetings Informs appropriate team members if they will be required to stay late as necessary Makes sure Client Services and Creative Directors are up to speed on any and all account issues Enforces agency policy and procedures to help ensure compliance Serves as liaison and troubleshoots work between all departments to ensure the accuracy of projects in accordance with agency operating procedures
