We currently have the following position available:

 

Vice President, Theatrical Research:  This position is responsible for overseeing key client accounts and generating new business opportunities for our domestic theatrical practice.  The VP will have P&L responsibility for key theatrical clients of Nielsen NRG, manage a team of analysts, and be responsible for insuring the quality of those client deliverables.  As a member of the management team, the VP will help lead new product development, process improvement, and overall strategy for Nielsen NRG, the largest provider of custom research to the entertainment industry. 

 

Responsibilities:  Develop and execute business development strategy for Nielsen NRG TheatricalAct as primary partner for key theatrical clients in developing and maintaining relationships through strong client serviceP&L, account management, and overall project supervision for theatrical studiesDevelop and deliver written reports and presentations to Theatrical clientsWork with NRG?s product development team to introduce new methodologies and research techniques to key entertainment industry clientsAct as primary partner for key theatrical clients in developing and maintaining relationships through strong client serviceOversee a team of direct reports in executing custom market research projects in addition to providing career development/mentorship

 

Requirements: Bachelor?s degree required and Master?s degree in related field strongly preferred6+ years of custom market research experience, a minimum of 2 years supplier-sideExperience conducting studies across a broad range of methodologies, including tracking studies, forecasting, consumer segmentation, conjoint/discrete choice analysisAdvanced analytics and modeling experience preferredEntertainment industry research experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsRobust strategic thinking skillsBusiness development experienceTeam management experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, collaborative work environment
