Located in the Northeast, we are interested in hiring a Vice President, Marketing who has the experience, skill set, and vision to grow the business past the $100 million mark with defined profitability within 3 years. Interested and qualified candidates will be asked to review the Company?s operations and articulate a plan to reach the revenue and profitability goals, a time line for the plan and outline the resources that would be required to execute the plan. The successful candidate will be a high energy individual who can ?hit the ground running? who will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with knowledgeable and motivated principals.

 

The VP, Marketing joins a strong management team in a productive, business-casual, yet professional situation. This position reports directly to the company?s President. The VP, Marketing will supervise, mentor and direct the marketing staff currently consisting of (2) marketing managers, (1) marketing coordinator, (1) analyst and (4) designers.

 

Job Requirements:

 

The ideal candidate will have previous management level, marketing experience in a retail, online and/or catalog industry. A full understanding of budgeting and P&L reporting, strong written and verbal communication skills, creative skills, excellent planning and organization ability and a talent for the management of staff as well as maintaining positive relationships with external contacts.

 

Major responsibilities are to define, develop and execute multiple marketing strategies that will:

 

? Develop increased, targeted traffic against an acceptable ROI by maximizing SEM and SEO opportunities and initiatives

?  Increase sales, improve conversion and improve average order value

?  Define and implement improvements to web presentation & site usability

?  Mine and leverage our growing house file for remarketing opportunities

?  Develop leads (customers) for the companies B2B initiatives through direct marketing

?  Identify and test ?non internet? methods for customer acquisition
