WEB CHANNEL MANAGER

DESCRIPTION:

Reporting into the SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, the Web Channel Manager is responsible for all online communications channels (wholesale, retail, corporate, correspondent, intranet) for FirstNLC.  The Web Channel Manager will also manage relationships with FirstNLCs internal IT resources as well as third party vendor relationships and a team of direct reports dedicated to internal web programming, content and design.  MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  Manages and directs the strategy, development and implementation of all online initiatives (external and internal)

?  Manages a team of web content coordinators, programmers and directs vendors and IT services to create and publish web pages

?  Responsible for all online deployment and integration consistent with offline/print marketing tactics

?  Provides recommendations to senior managers on online strategy in regards to development, communication, marketing programs and advertisements (including search engine optimization, banner ad placement, etc.)

?  Responsible for all online tracking and reporting to FirstNLC web sites and publishing results

?  Manages online communication tools, including outbound email programs, e-newsletters and other e-commerce initiatives

?  Works closely with creative services manager to ensure the online brand for FirstNLC is consistent and integrated with offline marketing deliverables

?  Provides recommendations to senior management on choice of software platforms, content management systems, outbound email performance systems, tracking and optimization of all online activities

 

 SKILLS PREFERRED:?  Minimum 8 years of experience in a web management role?  Previous mortgage or financial services industry experience an asset ?  Proficiency in html, XML, Java, Photoshop, Flash and other web programming languages?  Ability to multi-task and manage a diverse group of people and meet critical deadlines?  Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, team environment?  Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work with business units in other geographic locations?  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
