Web Content Specialist

? Web Site Content and Design - create and continually manage site content for www.capitalone.com/autoloans using a Content Management System (CMS); proactively test ways to improve customer experience and conversions through design and content changes.
? Search Engine Optimization - optimize site's position in natural search rankings through content and technical improvements; collaborate with internal and external SEO consultants to implement best practices and maximize search engine exposure.
? Search Engine Marketing - assist in managment of large-scale paid search campaigns in Google, Yahoo, MSN, and Ask; generate weekly campaign performance reports including cost metrics by keyword category.
? Web Analytics - track and report key site metrics including applications per unique visitor, application start rate, and application completion rate; develop and implement recommendations to improve site performance.
? Manage other Web-related projects, applying industry best practices.

Required Skills:
? At least 1 to 3 years experience producing and managing Web content and search engine optimization programs.
? Experience with a Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage web site content.
? Familiarity with the paid search (SEM) and organic search (SEO) landscapes.
? Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on your analysis.
? Strong copywriting and editing skills.
? Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to act think strategically and act tactically.
? Excellent collaboration, communication and project leadership skills.
? Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
? Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe and Macromedia products
? Experience with core Web development technologies (e.g. HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS) a plus.
? Working knowledge of graphics programs in a PC environment? (e.g. Photoshop or equivalent)?desired.
? Bachelor?s Degree required; IT or Marketing Degree strongly preferred.
