We offer an excellent opportunity for a ColdFusion Developer in Naugatuck, CT, as we expand our Marketing & Communications group to support our growing international logistics sales efforts.  The CF Developer is a hands-on implementer of the company?s marketing and communications tactics.  Tasks can range from data maintenance to project ownership and interactive web page development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 Develop and maintain ColdFusion applications and web pages on our global Internet and intranet sites.Manage Windows-Apache-CF and LAMP web servers in a VMWare environment (supported by our IT department).Investigate, recommend and implement technology-based solutions to improve the overall effectiveness of our Marketing & Communications group.

 

Qualifications:

 Proven experience in a fast-paced B2B service-oriented environment.Demonstrable ability to develop effective CF sites and applications.Web portfolio with examples of related work.

 

Skills and/or Experience:

 ColdFusion (CFMX7) application development (intermediate or above).  PHP experience a plus. Web page development, including HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS.  A strong knowledge of Web Standards is highly preferred.Web server administration, esp. Apache on Windows2003.  Network administration and Web server optimization experience a plus.VMWare and Linux experience desired.Database experience, including SQL, MySQL, and MS Access.  Dreamweaver or Eclipse (and CFEclipse), Subversion (and Subclipse) experience desired.Strong PC skills and expertise with all MS Office applications.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to work closely with both I.T. and Communications staff.Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.  Must be able to work independently. Ability to quickly learn new tasks, programs and procedures.Strong troubleshooting skills.
