Web / Graphic Designer

A worldwide information technology consulting company in the Malvern, PA area is in need of a Web / Graphic Designer for a long-term freelance position.  This individual will work with a solutions team to conceptualize a packaging campaign and create interactive interfaces using Flash.  The ideal candidate will be a team player who is capable of creating cutting edge, modern design that sets itself apart from the competition!

Responsibilities:

Assist in creating a packaging design campaign

Research packaging requirements

Create vibrant website pages and supporting graphics

Prepare graphic files for publishing

Take assignments from verbal or written instructions and execute them with a high level of proficiency in a fast cycle environment


Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Art or equivalent experience

3-5 years experience in a professional environment

Working knowledge of web-based application development and site design

Strong web based design and production skills

Proficiency in Flash 8, PhotoShop CS2, Illustrator CS2, HTML, and Dreamweaver

Familiarity with the optimization of graphics for web and flash development utilizing vector graphics construction

Experience using ActionScript to load external files into Flash movies to support modular site construction is preferred

Working knowledge of the print process a plus
