Job Duties: This position will manage the technical implementation of the Western Union corporate intranet site and the corporate content on WesternUnion.com from a business perspective, serving as an interface between Communications and the IT and business online (WU.com) teams. The position will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, identifying defects, and leading the coordination with the technical web team to resolve them. 1. Work with Corporate Communications web team and cross-functional web team to maintain corporate intranet and corporate content on WesternUnion.com. Includes working with technical implementation of site, and also working with content owners to troubleshoot issues with the content management system 2. Identify defects on the websites and work with IT to design and implement enhancements and new releases. Using a general knowledge of the site's technical organization and operation, act as a liaison between content contributors and technical project manager.

3. Create test scripts, coordinate testers, and lead testing following code releases. 4. Assist with other online Corporate Communications projects as needed. 5. Assist content owners in their analysis of their web site requirements. Recommend appropriate use of Western Union-approved web technology to use in posting content and messaging that supports Western Union objectives. 6. Assist team lead in strategically assessing new functionality enhancements for site. 7. Project Management of various projects through the requirements,

content and design phase and work with systems regarding project status.

Candidate Requirements: Strong familiarity with emerging web technologies, portal technology, html, content management solutions. Interwoven Team Site experience a plus. 3+ years experience in marketing, public relations and/or corporate communications with website and/or intranet management development. Strong knowledge of communications principles, web technology and principle of web site design and strong familiarity with emerging web technologies. Expertise in navigation and information design flows as well as implementing best practices in web usability and UI design

standards. Familiarity with taxonomy best practices. Ability to work with collaboratively with a cross-functional web team and with various business units to define and document project requirements
