Web Marketing Manager

The Senior Manager of Web Marketing is responsible for managing a team of writers, designers, usability experts, information architects, and outside resources to create and implement web strategies to support Apple Developer Connection (ADC) business, marketing, and sales goals.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Developer Marketing, the Senior Manager of Web Marketing will be part of the Developer Marketing management team which has the responsibility to set the overall strategic direction for ADC.

The successful candidate will also have responsibility for the overall content strategy including both technical and go-to-market content for developers.

Main Responsibilities:
Defines overall site organization and layout from an informational, navigational, and functional perspective with an emphasis on user experience.
Manages web team and outside resources to efficiently and effectively manage and evolve the ADC website.
Develops and monitors performance metrics, analyzes trends, and implements change based on result.
Manages usability testing. Gathers information on how users use the site, analyzes what works and what doesn?t work, implements changes, and tests redesigned site for usability issues.
Ensures site is optimized for CSS where appropriate and understands browser and platform compatibility issues.
Works with teams inside and outside Apple to ensure adherence to corporate standards for coding, directory structure, naming conventions, style guide.
Solicits, aggregates and enforces best practices and drives consistency across user experience.

Education:
Normally requires 10+ years relevant experience
BS/BA degree required
MBA preferred
