1181-AR Manufacturing Manager

Job Description:

? This position manages and directs product line operations and ensures achievement of the team objectives; coordinating with employees in production, production control, methods, cost accounting, manufacturing, and product engineering, maintenance and other related operations.

? This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing.

? Manages planning function to ensure smooth flow of product through manufacturing cells and delivery of customer product on time.

? Manages teams by establishing monthly and quarterly performance goals, allocating resources, assessing annual performance, and determining individual merit, incentive and /or promotional increases in support of company goals.

?  Interactive with Quality function to enforce proper production quality requirements.

? Continuously strives to reduce manufacturing variances, direct over indirect expenses as well as other product group expenses.

? Coordinates with procurement all manufacturing activities, such as outside processing to eliminate delays, in order to meet or exceed production and shipping schedules.

? Manages budget and expenses in all cell(s) and support areas.

 

Qualifications:

 

? 5-7 years experience in Manufacturing management of small metal parts or fasteners for Aerospace.

? Extensive experience in high speed and large volume machining.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
 MBA
Latch & fastener Manufacturing experience

 

Education Preferences: BS Engineering or Equivalent
