AIRFRAME PROCESS ENGINEER
Job Description We are seeking an Airframe Process Engineer that will be working from existing conceptual layouts, develop state of the art lean manufacturing factory layouts for building major and final assemblies and detail components. This candidate will also have to continuous coordination with design engineering, structures, weights and manufacturing operations in addition to process engineer peers is expected to assure that the completed manufacturing build plan is concise and meets all requirements.
Requirements
BS in related field
Ten years minimum process engineering experience for airframe structures utilizing composites, machined parts and sheet metal.
Must be capable of developing conceptual manufacturing build plans along with conceptual tool designs and process plans
This position will require extensive productivity analysis during the preliminary design effort utilizing lean manufacturing principles as applicable.
Must be able to work with CATIA V5 3D models
Familiarity with LCA, Delmia, Solumina is desired
