Account/Operations Manager ? O'Hare International Airport

 

Flight Services & Systems - A nationwide airline services company has an immediate opening for account/operations manager.  This position reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the day to ramp operations with our airline partner.

Responsibilities

Delivery of excellent customer service by both yourself and

your staff to the airlines and passengers.

Lead a supervisory team and front line employees to meet the

location and corporate goals.

Ensure proper staffing

Develop employees to their fullest potential

Maximize operational performance, adjusting to changes in

operation conditions

Proactive solving of problems, including but not limited to ontime

performance

Maintain optimum employee moral by proper and consistent

application of disciplinary action and commendatory

measures.

Develop all functions of account activity within budget

constraints and with emphasis on customer service and safety

Develop additional revenue sources within your location

Maintain and ensure compliance to all FAA/Homeland

Security/ADA Regulations and practices

Resolve passenger issues, answer questions, assist passengers

and employees as required

Provide proper assistance to disabled/elderly passengers as

required

Complete other duties as assigned by Vice President of

Operations or other executive staff.

 

General Information

Rate of Pay: Based on Experience

Schedule: AM/PM SHIFTS (include

weekends and holidays)

Hours: dependent on flight schedule

 

Minimum Qualifications

18 years of age

High School Diploma/GED

At least 2 years previous commerical airline/aircraft services company ramp experience at a supervisor/management level or military flight line experience

Valid Driver?s License

Free of Disqualifying Crimes

Clearance of FBI Criminal

Background Review (fingerprint

check)

Successful Pre-employment drug

screen

Ability to read, speak and understand

English

Eligible to work in United States

 

Physical Requirements

Stand continuously for 6 to 10 hours

Able to work in confined spaces

Able to lift 70lbs

Normal eyesight or 20/20 with

correction

Normal hearing
