FUNCTION: Advanced Cost Analyst

LOCATION: Washington Navy Yard - Washington, DC

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor?s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.

YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management. Two years experience credit for a Master?s degree or three years experience credit for a Ph.D.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Five years of experience to include preparing cost estimates and budgets for major DoD system acquisitions (preferably ship acquisition) programs.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITIES: Experience assessing cost and budget impacts of program alternatives as well as preparing and presenting applicable program documentation and briefings. Individual will perform a variety of cost and economic analysis. Work may include parametric cost estimating, cost and schedule estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship and model development, cost risk analysis, project forecasting and risk assessment, and cost-benefit analysis. Seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, with excellent communication, quantitative, research and analytical skills to provide cost estimating/analysis and budget analysis and execution support for Navy acquisition programs. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
