Aerospace Key Account Manager - Intevia

Job Summary:

The Key Account Manager secures new and existing business from identified target customer base in an effort to meet sales and margin objectives. Ensures order and revenue growth by analyzing and validating customer needs; developing and implementing sales plans; selling products and providing customer support in assigned region. They also identify customer contacts within the appropriate organizations, specifically advanced engineering, product planning and the design studio. Makes re-occurring sales calls performing on-site sales presentations and seminars. Responsible for growth of target customer relationships and market share within the aerospace segment.

Responsibilities to Include:
?Maintains frequent and regular contact with customer management, purchasing, engineering, planning, and the studio, to maximize promotional activities and expand the Intevia business.
?Prepares quarterly sales report for the business segment showing sales volume and potential sales
?Measurably contributes to the development of a focused, accountable, team-based culture that gets results with the Global business.
?May be asked to lead or serve as a member of special project teams.

Education:
?Ideal BS Engineering with an MBA.

Position Requirements:
? 6-10 years of experience dealing with major aerospace accounts.

? Experience selling electromechanical devices or complex mechanical or electrical components to major Aerospace OEM?s.? 10+ years experience in customer facing position; technical sales or business development.
? Demonstrated acumen in strategic marketing and selling activities and processes, specifically Economic Value Creation and Value Based Pricing.
? Experience with Team Based Selling highly desirable.
? Effective leader and independent thinker who maintains focus on goals and objectives.
? Commitment to and experience in a Team-Based Culture.
? Accurate awareness of personal strengths and weaknesses.
? Ability to think at both the strategic and tactical levels, including ability to drill down into details when necessary and produce collateral to support vision.
? Demonstrates consistency of style and message on business priorities and plans of action
 ?Operates with a sense of urgency and ability to ?think outside the box.?
? Drives self and others towards completion of critical tasks to execute against goals and objectives.
? Ability to manage competing priorities

? Capable of interacting with customers in difficult situations. Must have good negotiation skills and the ability to design creative solutions to tough challenges.
? Exceptional written and oral communication skills are a must.
