Aircraft Structures/sheetmetal Mechanic

Inspect, overhaul, repair, modify and troubleshoot airframe and/or power plant parts, systems and components utilizing approved maintenance documents.  Support engineering in developing repairs and modifications for transport category airplanes.  Fabricate parts and assemblies for use in engineering modifications and repairs.  Assist engineers by utilizing fundamental design principals and knowledge of metals and metal fabrication. 

Accomplish work within job standards and estimated hours and meet or exceed quality standards as set by TIMCO, the FAA, and approved customer maintenance program.


Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Must provide own tools as indicated on Company Tool List.  Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.

A&P License preferred and/or 2 years aircraft structural overhaul experience OR successful completion of TIMCO?s Structural Training program in Greensboro, NC.
