Spectral Systems, Inc. (SSI) is a leading edge, aerospace engineering

and product development company that has grown from an engineering service provider to a developer and integrator of advanced Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, sensors and embedded processors.

 

 

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

 

Background in business development and account management of ISR and EW systems.

 Assists with the consultation, development, coordination and implementation of business processes and projects required to support the operations, sales and success of company.  Research/qualify all sales leads to determine potential of securing new business. Assist in developing new business infrastructure and in coordinating with all corporate divisions.  BS degree in electrical engineering/scientific degree (MS Preferred).  Minimum of 5 years experience in business development of ISR, EW, ELINT and SIGINT.  Experience in technical marketing, proposal development and program management. Able to communicate detailed technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

Requires frequent travel of up to 50%.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 Utilizing in depth customer knowledge, assist in formulating a quick gap analysis of the current ISR, EW, SIGINT systems/services at customer sites and develop appropriate responses to meet the customer?s needsQualify inquiries/bids against target market, core competency, revenue potential, companycapabilities and projected business forecastAssist in creating the RFP to include solution design concepts, deadlines, supply addedinformation, presentation and process/status trackingBe responsible for independent customer relationship, during implementation and transition to operationDevelop a record of sales success for new supply chain business.Ability to develop both a complete deal summary outlining the scope of work and a financialmodel detailing cost and pricing elements with support from financeAssist in creating written strategic action plans for customer management Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present at board level in order to secure new business
