SRA International, Inc has an immediate need for a Business Program Manager at our office in Warner Robins, GA. 

 

The selected candidate is responsible for planning, organizing and managing a business program for successful performance consistent with contractual agreements. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects; and for supporting new business development by leading or assisting with proposals.  Candidate must be a seasoned leader with great interpersonal skills and a business professional. He/she will be responsible for leading a business program of 90+ energetic staff professionals who are developing and executing a diverse portfolio of government and commercial business activities. They are responsible for setting and articulating the Business Program's Vision of the Future, cultivating staff buy-in, and orchestrating the availability of resources required to progress toward the Vision. They are also ultimately responsible to senior corporate management for overall business performance including financial performance as well as customer satisfaction with execution of portfolio programs. He/she plays a major role in staffing decisions, business development activities, and oversight of portfolio management/execution.

 

Additional responsibilities include having a BS (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience with a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience performing similar job functions in an aerospace environment is required. The person must have experience in program management, budget and expense responsibility. Develop and execute strategic direction. Plan, organize and manage the preparation of proposals in response to both commercial and government RFPs to include cost, schedule, technical approach and presentation to customer. Develop negotiating strategy for contract administration to include the shaping of customer's acquisition strategy for follow-on business. Present briefings to organizational and group management as well as customer representatives on significant program issues to include strategic direction, cost, schedule, performance, technical and contractual status and program marketing. Ensure the program objectives and the Company's contract commitments are met and maintain the technical and business integrity of the product/program. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to the ability to effectively present complex technological research and information to organizational and group management, government officials, customers, and scientific or public groups. Demonstrated ability to influence and obtain results a must. The ideal candidate will have achieved high degree of success in developing business in the Federal sector within growing entrepreneurial companies or smaller divisions of larger companies and will have a demonstrated record of identifying and developing new business opportunities. A history of building successful teaming/ partnership relationships within the Federal market will be a critical selection factor and the candidate should possess a wealth of developed relationships and knowledge of relevant agencies and offices. Ability to operate independently and establish an in-depth understanding of company practices, procedures and program directives. Proficiency with experience preparing and presenting complex technical and management issues effectively to internal management and customers. Requires good interpersonal skills, must be able to resolve issues and resource contentions, while working with groups. Highly effective people-skills are crucial for this position as well as Top Secret clearance.
