CMM Inspector

MAJOR PURPOSE (Night Shift Only) Verification of product conformance to established Company and Customer requirements including; manufacturing plans, policies, procedures, work instructions, Quality Records, specifications, drawings, mylar's, acceptance gages and tooling, etc.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Inspector must be versatile and have full knowledge of application and programming of PC-DMIS 3.5 Software.  Coordinate CMM programming requirements with CMM Programmer.  Interact with customer representative on any and all issues pertaining to the CMM Inspection Process i.e. Digital Data, Contractual requirements for deliverable data, etc.  as delegated by the Supervisor/Leadman.  Identify software/hardware issues that may have detrimental effects on the CMM process  Undertake Continual Improvement Projects as defined and as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance/QA Supervisor or Leadman.

ORGANIZING AND PLANNING

Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, organizing assigned work effectively, forecast potential problems and communicate the same in an expedient manner to ensure mitigation plans are placed in action to preclude customer satisfaction deterioration.

COMMUNICATIONS

Written:  Must be capable of generating concise inspection reports and analysis, in support of customer communications.

Oral:  Must posses a strong ability to speak on technical and business issues on a routine basis conveying positive image for the Company.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs unassisted.  Standing for long periods of time may be required.
