RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Supervise the daily operations of assigned work centers in an Aerospace manufacturing environment Schedule production and assure production goals are met, while maintaining exceptional quality levels Build and maintain positive relationships with all departments, especially those that regularly interface with production, such as Sales, Engineering & Quality Coach, develop, motivate, evaluate and supervise 20-30 highly skilled machinists and maintenance technicians Lead employees to accomplish the vision, mission and operational strategy and goals of the organization Listen and respond in a positive and timely manner to stakeholder questions, concerns & suggestions Recommend and obtain the necessary resources & team support to make continuous improvements Maintain approved budget related to wages, material purchases and equipment maintenance, repair and replacement Perform all responsibilities in compliance with federal regulations, customer specifications and company policies Schedule and facilitate regular discussions with employees, including staff meetings, performance evaluations and informal 1 on 1 discussions related to exceptional performance, needed improvement, training, etc Promote the use of technology to drive metrics and help production happen smarter, faster and easier


SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:

 Bachelors of Science degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or related 5 years direct shop experience preferred, three of which should be supervision, in an Aerospace Environment Ability to read, write and make oral presentations Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word Requires excellent communication skills
