Contract Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

?  Manage assigned contracts to assure that all contractual commitments are met

?  Prepare preliminary proposals for management review

?  Prepare customer quotations and cost proposals

?  Conduct contract negotiations with customers

?  Coordinate customer contract audit/fact-finding preparation to support Company's cost and pricing position

?  Preparation, monitoring and maintenance of customer correspondence and documented records of all agreements and contract revisions

?  Review the terms and conditions of new contracts and purchase orders

?  Interface with purchasing, production, engineering, production control to assist on-schedule performance.

?  Provide pricing department with information to insure pricing is competitive and realistic

?  Entering and managing sales orders in Oracle/ERPS System

?  Managing requirements from customer procurement website or other electronic procurement systems

?  Coordinating product returns/evaluations/repairs/warranty claims

?  Prepare backlog and follow-on sales forecast

?  Assist finance to obtain payment of past-due invoices

?  Maintain contact with customer to review shipment schedules, contract terms and conditions, follow-on orders, negotiations and past-due accounts and resolve differences and problems

?  Participate in lean and continuous improvement activities

 

Education or Training Required:

Bachelors degree in business or technical field, or equivalent.

Oracle / ERP experience preferred.

Contracts knowledge and experience.
