Contracts /Sub Administration

Responsible for managing major subcontracts to ensure compliance to company and prime contractual requirements to include: working in close coordination with Program Managers to incorporate technical specifications and acceptance criteria into specific subcontracts and requests for Proposals (RFP's) for solicitations-including flow down of prime contract requirements and appropriate terms and conditions, negotiation and management of subcontracts-including cost and price analysis, appropriate progress and status reporting as to subcontractor performance in accordance with negotiated subcontracts, invoice approval, identifying subcontractor risks and implementing mitigations to reduce impacts of identified risks. Maintains open communications with internal and external 'customers' and subcontractors, maintains appropriate subcontracts records to ensure compliance with all internal and Governmental procedures, FAR/ DFAR requirements and to support ISO and CPSR audits if applicable.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

Experience - 5-10 years of Subcontract Administration. Working knowledge of
Government Contracting practices, contract types (CPFF, T&M, & FFP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS, & developmental Engineering Projects. Must be Team Oriented and willing to take on various challenging projects. Travel required to Subcontractors.

Computer Skill Base: MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel & Power Point. Deltek System experience is a plus.
