FUNCTION: Cost Analyst


LOCATION: Los Angeles Division - Manhattan Beach, CA


EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor?s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.


YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management. Two years experience credit for a Master?s degree or three years experience credit for a Ph.D.


REQUIRED SKILLS: Hands-on experience in cost modeling and cost analysis of DoD space vehicle systems. Strong systems engineering disciplines are desired, with an emphasis in spacecraft systems. Ability to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITIES: Individual must have strong spacecraft systems cost estimating with DoD, NASA or commercial programs. Individual will represent the company to interface and support the Los Angeles Air Force Base in developing program baselines. Must be familiar with cost estimating principles and have strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Experience in hardware and software estimating processes, estimating models, and estimating tools. Principal responsibilities include launch vehicle estimation, proposal evaluations, research/develop methodologies, generate estimate documentation, support briefings, cost analyses, risk analyses, and other related activities. Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
