Customer Service Representative

1.0  SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

Manages the customer support aspects of spare parts sales as well as fleet management, preparation of engine/module quotes and maintenance of engine logs and spreadsheets; ensures that customers fully understand the policies associated with these activities as well as related quotes and turn-around times; ensures customer satisfaction.

 

2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with Turbomeca USA?s customers through constant communication.

? Call center duties

? Processes requests for quotations from customers.

? Processes and follows-up on customer?s purchase orders; including order entry, coordinating shipping, and identifying customer?s credit standing.

? Determines core return requirements from customers.

? Tracks return of cores from customers in a timely manner.

? Prepares work orders for Turbomeca core property and customer property.

? Prepares and submits quotes for the overhaul and repair of engines, accessories, and parts to customers.

? Training on TM products

? Maintains files for customer property in work.

? Inputs quote data in the Performance Review Database.

? Processes engine, FCU, and HMU rental requests.

? Maintains back order reports, releasing parts as received.

? Ensures Field Representatives are kept abreast of any pertinent information that is exchanged with customers in relation to AOGs, etc.

? Travel required ? 5%, including internationally.

? Required ?On Call? duty.

 

3.0  SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

? Develops procedures, identifies problems; recommends solutions to fulfill project objectives; recommends expenditures.  Has authority to act, but must inform supervisor promptly.  Divulging of confidential and/or sensitive information could lead to lawsuits.  Errors may lead to high risk of major damage to the organization resulting in the need to create totally new approaches.

 

4.0  REQUIRED COMPETENCIES ? Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities

? Five + years in aviation and materials management, five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six Sigma green belt preferred.

? Intermediate Level ? Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good keyboarding skills required.

? Able to multitask in a fast paced call center environment.

? Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations that can be applied immediately.
