Title: Customer /Technical Training Representative

 

Primary responsibility:

 

Join our fast-paced high growth Avionics business, applying your skills as a technical training professional focused on development and implementation of key customer and employee technical training initiatives, including:  OEM customers, dealers, end customers, and internal sales and support staff training  

 

Reports to:  Director, Customer Support

 

Description of initial responsibilities:

? Develop and conduct technical training courses for our customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products

? Interact with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses.

? Work with engineering, technical/customer support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features

? Plan course design and support documentation; preparing training materials from engineering documentation, field service requirements and/or software documentation

? Ensure training programs meet company and customer requirements ? maintaining communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training.

? Coordinate the scheduling of in-house and field training as required

? Instruct participants in classroom as well as field environments

? Manage third party providers of training tools and materials 

 

Requirements:BS degree in technical area: BSEE, BSAE preferred5 years experience in technical training in the Aeronautics/Avionics industryMinimum 20-25% travel requiredPrevious technical course development experience ? writing sample requiredExcellent presentation skills requiredDemonstrated computer user expertise (e.g.:  www, MS Office Applications, database management apps)Effective contributor in a team-oriented environment
