DOCUMENT CONTROL CLERK

Job Description: CDI is in immediate need of a clerk to analyzes various source documents to prepare computer inputs in order to generate various forms of engineering, quality assurance and manufacturing data documents.

 

REQUIREMENTS
Must have exp. with configuration management and controlled documention.
Prepares necessary computer input forms and establishes proper database structure from the top deliverable end items down to the individual piece-part level.
Verifies that computer output information is consistent wit the source documentation.
Maintains necessary configuration change control records & be able to read & analyze engineering and technical documents to extract configuration information.
Supports data package preparation with quality assurance & files drawings and documents and maintains configuration log.
Requires good computer skills, knowledge of CAD systems, and excellent organizational and filing skills.
3-5 years covering a full range of data experience with two years as a configuration data administrator.  College level coursework in a related field.

EDUCATION

College level coursework in a related field or required industry experience.
